Principal Engineering Technician: Systems Planning

T13 (R 473 465,52 – R 614 587,87 Per Annum)

REQUIREMENTS

  • A relevant National Diploma in Engineering and registration as a Pr Techni Eng.
  • 5 – 8 relevant experience post registration.
  • Computer literacy: MS Office
  • Computer Literate in MS Projects/Word/Excel/Outlook/PowerPoint
  • Valid code B drivers’ license
  • Proficient in at least two (2) of the three (3) official languages of the Western Cape

 

KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Plan and Design of Construction Projects.
  • Schedule projects in logical steps, budget and time required to meet deadlines.
  • Ensure that the Municipal’s requirements are met and that all projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • To ensure effective communication with all relevant stakeholders to support Municipal objectives.
  • To ensure main job functions and to ensure quality service delivery.

Candidates must be willing to be subjected to an interview and written/competency assessment. They must also be aware that previous employers and recent references may be contacted, and their qualifications and criminal records be verified. The appointment will be subject to the signing of an employment contract, performance agreement and disclosure of interest.
