The Municipality wishes to inform all residents that the Bongulethu Pay Point will be temporarily closed from 17 June 2026 until 03 July 2026 to allow for essential renovations.
The renovations are aimed at enhancing the facility and improving service delivery to residents. We apologize for any inconvenience this temporary closure may cause and appreciate your patience and understanding during this period.
Residents are encouraged to make use of the Municipality’s alternative pay points for account payments during the closure period. Customers may also purchase prepaid electricity through approved third-party vendors and other available payment channels.
Residents are advised to plan their payments and prepaid electricity purchases in advance to avoid any disruptions.
The Bongulethu Pay Point is expected to resume normal operations on 06 July 2026.
