Minister Mackenzie’s visit included stops at two local libraries and the exciting Inter District Cycling Event.

Their faces lit up with excitement and curiosity, a beautiful reminder of the magic of storytelling. Following the storytime, the Minister joined the children in fun art projects in celebration of Mandela Day and also took time to chat with them in the computer room.

At the CJ Langenhoven Library, the Minister was given an in-depth overview of the services the library offers to the public. The library personnel provided insights into the resources and programs available, emphasizing the library’s role in the community.

Demonstrating his enthusiasm for the sport, Minister Mackenzie brought along his bicycle and participated in the event, completing eight laps with the young athletes.

The Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality is grateful for Minister Mackenzie’s visit and his commitment to promoting cultural and sporting activities in the region.
