Oudtshoorn, 16 February 2021 – The citizens of the Greater Oudtshoorn, including Dysselsdorp and De Rust are notified that Municipal workers at the depot are currently on strike. The reason of the strike is still unknown. The workers did not go out to collect refuse today, 16 February 2021. Looking at the situation, it is highly unlikely that refuse will be collected today. Residents are therefore advised to recollect their refuse back.
The Municipal management is attending to the situation. We will keep you informed of any developments and announce when the refuse back can be taken out again for collection. We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
