The SAPS’s firearm office has been reopened this week on 11 May 2020 following implementation of alert lever 4 on the 1st of May 2020. All renewals of licenses or handing in of firearms on the amnesty may now come in. The offices are open between 08:00 to 14:00 during weekdays. The closing date for the Firearm amnesty is 31 May 2020.
