Oudtshoorn, 11 January 2017 – The Executive Mayor, Aldm Sylverster, held a breakfast on Wednesday, 11 January 2017 in appreciation and recognition to the top matric achievers of the Class of 2016 to motivate them towards their future.
“Your success is the success of your parents, the success of your community and the success of your future” was words Aldm Sylvester shared with them.
He told the top three achievers of each of the eight high schools that they are the next generation and that the town leadership is extremely proud of their achievements and that the community of the Greater Oudtshoorn is looking forward to more achievements from their side.
The event was attended by councillors, educators, students and motivational speakers from the business and youth sectors.
