Oudtshoorn, 18 January 2017 – Oudtshoorn Municipality reported a break-in incident with the South African Police Service (SAPS) after intruders entered the Information Technology (IT) offices through a window over the weekend a stole a number of items from the offices.
IT staff were alerted about the break-in on Sunday morning and came to inspect. They discovered that the following items were stolen:
- 1 x billion adsl router
- 2 x 24v battery chargers
- 2 x Makita drills (1 x hammer action & 1 normal)
- 2 x Dell laptops (1 x i5 & 1 x i3)
- 2 x Hp Probook Laptops
- 1 x i3 Desktop PC (Black case)
- 1 x 500GB notebook harddrive
- 1 x Mecer 320GB silver External harddrive
- 1 x Toshiba centrino laptop silver
