Oudtshoorn Local Football Association Hosts A Successful Easter Tournament In Dysselsdorp

Oudtshoorn, 05 April 2024 – The Oudtshoorn Local Football Association (OLFA), in collaboration with the Greater Oudtshoorn Municipality, has proudly concluded the Easter Tournament held in Dysselsdorp, displaying the local football talent, where a total of 19 teams participated.

The tournament, which featured teams from across the region, brought together football enthusiasts and communities to celebrate the spirit of the game during the Easter Weekend.

In the A-Division semi-finals, Leeds United displayed expertise as they secured a convincing 3-0 victory over Kock City, while Atletico narrowly edged past Young Teenagers with a 1(3)-1(2) victory. In a highly anticipated final match, Leeds United demonstrated their dominance once again, emerging victorious with a commanding 3-0 win over Atletico, claiming the A-Division title.

In the B-Division semi-finals, St. Konrad prevailed in a thrilling penalty shootout, defeating AC Milan 4-3 after a 1-1 draw in regular time, while Springbok “B” faced a tough challenge against Italie “B,” ultimately falling short with a 2-3 scoreline. The final match saw St. Konrad deliver a stellar performance, securing a resounding 5-1 victory over Italie “B” to clinch the B-Division championship.
