IDP and Budget Approved By Council
The Greater Oudtshoorn Municipal Council approved the integrated Development Plan for the 2022-2027 financial years starting on 01 July 2022 as well as the MTREF budget, tariffs and budget-related policies for the 2022-2023 financial year during a Special Council Meeting on Monday, 06 June 2022.
Controlled Regulations at Scrap Yards Can Put a Stop to Vandalism
Oudtshoorn Municipality in a joint operation with Oudtshoorn Municipal Law Enforcement, the South African Police Services (SAPS), Telkom, Transnet, and the Vehicle Theft Unit, recently conducted a workshop with several second-hand goods dealers and scrap yard facilities. The aim was to focus on several issues concerning procedures and health risks within the scrap yards and to be stricter when it comes to the Second-Hand Goods Act.
